She is also an Organisational Psychologist and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Cherie was previously recognised as the Australian Institute of Management’s ‘Leader of the Year’ at a Regional, State and National level, and was a state finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards. Cherie is an experienced senior executive with success in scaling businesses, global expansions, mergers and acquisitions, and developing operational excellence. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of business operations and strategy, whilst also being an experienced mentor. Cherie focuses on empowering people, developing a thriving culture and setting high performance standards. Cherie understands how to motivate people to deliver successful business outcomes. She is a strategic thinker and an authentic, passionate leader. She has had the privilege of working with some of the largest global brands including IBM, J&J and KPMG, along with key government and defence agencies. Cherie has also held a range of global executive positions, executive and non-executive Board roles and been a growth focused CEO. She brings a wealth of insight across industry trends globally from the last 3 decades. Personally, Cherie is also a proud mum of two who also loves to share a glass of wine with her girlfriends and has recently discovered Pickleball!
