Angus is an experienced retail executive with over 25 years in retail, leading omnichannel retail strategy, retail operations, buying, ecommerce, and B2B during this time. Late in 2024, Angus was appointed Chief Operating Officer at Nick Scali Limited, an ASX-listed Australian retailer operating a network of 130 stores across Australia, New Zealand and UK. Prior to this, Angus was CEO at Barbeques Galore, delivering significant transformation across employee engagement, store design and experience, new product development, and investment in brand and omnichannel capability, being recognised with multiple industry awards including the Australian Retail Association's Medium Retailer of the Year in 2024. Angus also spent 11 years at ASX-listed Super Retail Group, performing a number of senior executive roles during this time. Angus holds a Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is based in Sydney, Australia where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
